Despair Discolors
A fogless morning in San Francisco: set for a trip to the zoo. You could smell the mist from the beach as it travel through your nostrils and soon the cold from the breeze slowly kicks in to a shiver.
It had been a while I had visited a zoo and I won’t find myself going back in the near future. The animals with colorful feathers, fur, and rumps laid motionless and appeared tired and withdrawn. Their eyes seemed to long for more fields beyond the towering fences.. With all the creatures’ beauty and vibrancy it was discomforting to see only people happy; to have had enjoyed it.
